Join Barton and Tredworth Community Trust

Membership of the Trust is free and open to all who live or work in the Barton & Tredworth area of Gloucester City.
The Trust’s core objectives are:
·         To relieve poverty
·         To relieve elderly residents in need
·         To actively promote and work towards the elimination of discrimination and disadvantage affecting members of the community relating to ethnic origin
·         To advance education (including training for employment or work) particularly by the provision of advice and information.
·         To provide, for the public benefit and in the interest of social welfare facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of:
1.       Improving the conditions of life for persons needing those facilities be reason of their youth, age. Infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstance; or
2.       Improving the conditions of life for such members, or female members, of the public as wish to avail themselves of the facilities; in particular (but not without prejudice to the generality)
·         For the benefit of the inhabitants of the Barton & Tredworth ward of Gloucester
·        To secure for the public benefit the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in the area of benefit.
