Recovered Items

Police in Gloucester are seeking the owners of a number of items of property that were recovered during an arrest for burglary.
 
The recovered items are –

  • A gold coloured watch with two small dials on the face
  • A steel watch with a black square face which is cracked
  • An LG KS360 mobile phone on a Tesco pay as you go tariff.
 
The items were found following a burglary in Cheyney Close, Gloucester, on Thursday January 28.
 
A 21-year-old man from Tredworth has been charged with burglary following the incident. He will be appearing at Stroud Magistrates Court on March 1.

Boaters’ Craft Demonstrations

The National Waterways Museum in Gloucester will be hosting a series of traditional canal craft demonstrations, by museum volunteers, including making rag rugs, bonnets, belts, crochet and rope.

Admission: Tickets cost £3.95 for adults, £3.50 for children and £2.75 for children aged 5 to 16. Free for children  under 5. Ticket prices includes entry to the museum.

Waterways Talks in Gloucester

The National Waterways Museum at The Docks in Gloucester will be playing host to a series of free talks, each lasting an around an hour with the chance for discussion afterwards.

Subject talks are Confessions of a Photographer with a One Track Mind, The History and Restoration of the Hereford and Gloucester Canal and then Tales from the River Severn – with dates for each detailed below.

The CrowdingAbout Series

This Gloucester Guildhall exhibition of paintings by James Milroy depicts crowds of people in a variety of communal activities, from sport and leisure to work and politics. Crowds are depicted doing everything from dancing and running to protesting and even painting.
