Salaam Respected Parents & Students and other readers. This is our 1st ever newsletter, which I’m humbled to write and there are lots of exciting things to share with you.
A Special Awards Evening
You are all invited as there is a present for all students on Wednesday 29 July at 6.30pm. Halaal food will be provided so please bring all your family to this happy occasion. If easier you can leave as soon as you want after your child’s ‘surprise’. Bring your grand parents, friends or any family members to acknowledge your child’s special efforts to learn the deen of Allah.
Summer Holiday
Please let me know what your preference is for holidays during July and August. This year we have to balance school holidays, summer and Blessed Ramadan! Perhaps a short 2 week break is good but I am happy to listen to when you think we should return. Insha Allah we are working on a calendar for the next year which we will provide you with a copy of shortly.
Survey
I am really interested in hearing what you think of this ‘madressah’ and the service we provide. Is there anything we are doing that your child is really unhappy about, or something else we can do that would be good? We want to hear your ideas so we can try them if they are sensible and of course Allah wills.
Contact Details
It is very important that you provide your contact details in the event of an emergency. We don’t plan them but they may happen and someone may need to contact you at any moment if the need arise. Please be assured that all details are private and confidential.
Curriculum/Structure
I have already created a curriculum, level and lesson plan for each child, based on their individual needs. Copies of this will also Insha Allah be available shortly.
Attendance
Please call x 01452 419929, x 07754 885164 or the BTCT office (533435) if your child is unable to attend a session. This way we can advise the minibus service not to come if no children need dropping off. This is good for the environment and also for the person’s time!
Madressah Bags
Please can you let me know if you would like a Madressah bag? Some of you may like one at a cost of £1.
Local visits
Alhamdolillah, some of the children were lucky to visit Masjid Umer recently. We sincerely thank the kind Imam for his time giving the guided tour. If you have any other ideas, then please let us know. Some of you have suggested a Church, Cathedral, Synagogue & Mandhir. The children who attended found it most beneficial and eye opening, especially the girls!
No classes.
A reminder that there is no class on Wednesday 8th July due to a school governor meeting. If you would like then any student may come to my house at 6pm on this day for their lessons.
May Almighty Allah accept yours, others and our humble efforts.
